Alyssa Dvorak of Weatherford, Texas, aboard her horse Betterthanabentley, clinched the Intermediate Non-Pro Derby Championship with a remarkable score of 221, earning an estimated $9,120.46. Dvorak expressed her gratitude to Grant Setnicka, Casey Green, and her dad for their support.
Starr Whitley of Brenham, Texas, rode Dont Look for Troubl (owned by Whitley Ranch LP) to victory in the Limited Non-Pro Classic/Challenge, scoring an impressive 222 and securing $5,360.85 in prize money. Whitley attributed her success to sticking to the fundamentals and maintaining passion and dedication to the sport.
Jessica Bañuelos Feiner of Aspen, Colorado, and Beautiful Lies (owned by SMF Cutting Horses) shone brightly with multiple championships. They triumphed in the Intermediate Non-Pro Classic/Challenge with a score of 222, earning $5,984.05. In the Non-Pro Classic/Challenge, they dazzled with a score of 227, taking home $17,456.57. Feiner praised Beautiful Lies as the most fun and craziest ride, thanking her husband Steven for his unwavering support.
