The 2025 Painted Pony Art Walk & Auction is here! Starting February 1st and running until April 1st, attendees can enjoy sculptured horses created by talented local artists. There are 16 Painted Ponies on display. This family-friendly event is located in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The walk along Broad Street is free!
Last year in 2024, the event raised over $100,000 for the Carolina Horse Park Foundation. 14 Painted Ponies found new homes in an exciting auction. The bids ranged from $3,500 to $16,000!
Local artists work with their sponsors to create life-size masterpieces. The ponies take almost two months to complete! Each has a unique name on their display plaque. This year the Sandhills Community College clear-coated each one for protection. You can find a Painted Ponies map at the Southern Pines Visitor Center.
On April 5, 2025, there will be a live online auction for the 16 sculptures. All proceeds keep the Park at top level.
Check out these beautiful 2025 Painted Ponies.
