Horse communities are perfect for those that want to enjoy residential life and riding. Most have luxury houses, incredible horse amenities, and fields of horses everywhere. How neat would it be to have other equestrians as your neighbors? Many of these neighborhoods have stables, riding arenas, and trails. Home owners can choose to keep their horse at the community barn or in their backyard if they have enough space. The horse amenities are usually what sells these developments.
1. The Fields Equestrian Community in Cameron, North Carolina
This residential community offers 10 miles of private trails, two dressage arenas, a jump arena, driving arena, cross country course, track, and driving obstacles. It’s located 22 minutes from downtown Southern Pines, a premier horse area. There are 37 lots.
2. Sarasota Ranch Club in Sarasota, Florida
With over 620 green acres, this equine community is gorgeous! There’s an abundance of lush pastures, ponds and creeks, wildlife, and oak hammocks. Equestrians will enjoy the miles of bridle path. This community is in a prime horse destination!
3. Tryon Equestrian Farms in Mill Spring, North Carolina
This equine-friendly community has long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a short distance away from Tryon International Equestrian Center. Each home site has at least two acres. There is a wide horse trail system on the perimeter of the community.
4. Walnut Grove Estates in Lexington, Kentucky
A 106-acre neighborhood, Walnut Grove Estates offers Holiday Hills Stable. This newly-constructed facility has 29 acres of Bluegrass land. They offer boarding, lessons, and training for residents. This community is only 20 minutes away from the Kentucky Horse Park.
