The fastest time of the weekend was posted by Kirsty White and her home-raised BEI-nominated stallion R Ace Of Spades (The Goodbye Lane x Special Tack x Plain Special) in the Derby Sweepstakes. Taylor Cherry and standout mare Lynns Honor (Guys Casanova Cowboy x Lynns Blue Valentine x Hayes Blue Valentine) smoked a 14.461 to win The Showdown, worth $27,000. The duo also earned $605 for placing fourth in the Open 4D with a 14.815, and $1,766 for the BEI Open Incentive.
