For the fifth year, Barrel Horse News put the power in the readers’ hands in deciding the cover horse for the Barrel Horse News Stallion Register. The 2026 Stallion Register Cover Bracket ran from April 19, 2025, to May 15, 2025, pitting Junior & Up-and-Coming Sires, All-Time Futurity Sires, All-Time Rodeo Sires and All-Time All Ages, All Division Sires for the change to be featured on the cover using data compiled by EquiStat.
Tres Seis ultimately took home the win through a tough race that came down to a final bracket between Freckles Ta Fame and Tres Seis.

Tres Seis is a 1999 brown stallion by Sixarun and out of Our Third Delight, who’s by Reb’s Policy (TB). His black-type pedigree speaks for itself as he’s become a legendary stallion in the barrel racing industry. He’s produced more than $9.3 million in EquiStat barrel racing earners, and sits in the No. 7 position on EquiStat’s All-Time Leading Sires charts.

At age 26, he continues to stand to the public producing the next generation of barrel racing winners. He currently stands at Zerlotti Genetics in Pleasanton, Texas.
