After ending the 2025 pro rodeo season early with an abscess, Jordan Driver was unsure if she would run Judge JB Cash (Judge Cash x Bevs Aa Whiz Kid x Pc Bar Dox Frost) at the Texas Circuit Finals. After running “Judge” in Puyallup and the Cinch Playoffs, she headed to the Pendleton Roundup. In Oregon, she found he had an abscess, and she decided to come home.
“The circuit finals were the first runs back on Judge since Puyallup,” Driver said. “He kind of just didn’t feel right and I’d already sent Cyrus home with my mom because I didn’twant to run him at any of those rodeos up there. I got to Pendleton with Judge, and he blew probably the biggest abscess I’ve ever seen. I just kind of said it’s what it was, andwent home and about a week before circuit finals is when we finally got it out. So he ran at one jackpot before the circuit finals.”
This was Driver’s second Texas Circuit Finals and one she soon won’t forget. Slower in the first round, Driver knew Judge could be stronger.
Though he was sound again, Driver didn’t know if he would be in good enough shape physically to compete four rounds in a row after having so much time off.
“I just didn’t know if he had the air, if he was going to be able to recover for four runs,” she said. “But he likes Waco for some reason. I have a love-hate relationship with Waco, I hit a barrel on him last year to win a round and then I won a round on him. So I had always said that if I did make it again, I was going to run him for sure.”

“The fun thing about him, and an average is he kind of gets faster and he’s going to make the same run every time,” she said. “I knew I had to win the average, I came in 11th in the circuit standings, so I had no chance of winning the year-end. So I’m just glad it turned out the way it did.”
Driver placed second in the second round, third in the third round and second in the fourth round for $4,661. Their time of 62.83 on four runs won the Average title and an additional $4,661.
After a successful run at the pro rodeos earlier in the year including Denver, Fort Worth and San Antonio, Driver set out for a summer run as well. She finished the 2025 season No. 26 in the WPRA world standings.
“I won Salinas this year on Judge and I placed at a couple rodeos, but it didn’t just happen like I wanted it to. I hit a lot of barrels to win a lot of money and so that was kind of disheartening. But, I came home with healthy horses. I still set myself up to get into the winter buildings.”
Driver’s larger goal is to qualify for the National Finals Rodeo. Now that she’s graduated from college where she was a four-time College National Finals Rodeo qualifier, she doesn’t have to travel between college and pro rodeos.
“I’ve always ended up chasing to try to get to the finals (NFR),” she said. “I think I have to set my goals a little different. I want to go into the finals top five, so that’s a big goal, and I know that it is, but I think I need to just take one run at a time and really focus on that. I have some younger horses and some newer horses with me so I can give my two boys a little bit of break here and there. I think that’s sometimes I forget that it’s supposed to be fun, so I have to remember that I am blessed to get to do this and have the horses that I have.”
