A good riding horse is worth their weight in gold. There are qualities that all riders should look for when purchasing their next horse. This horse should be a joy to ride. Life is too short to own a horse you struggle with. Find one that makes you happy! Some of these qualities can be improved upon with the right rider and trainer, while others are temperament and born into the horse.
